Kitchen Remodeling in Alexandria, VA
Project Overview
This was a full kitchen remodel in Alexandria, VA where the homeowner wanted to keep the charm of the original brick floor while completely updating everything else. We started with a full demo of the existing cabinetry, countertops, and lighting. Custom white shaker cabinets were installed floor to ceiling on both walls, maximizing storage without making the space feel closed in. Cove ceiling lighting was added along the top of the cabinets giving the kitchen a warm, elevated look without being over the top. Quartz countertops were cut and installed to fit the layout, and a farmhouse sink with a copper bridge faucet was added on the window side for both function and character. Copper hardware was used on every cabinet and drawer to tie the whole design together. The original brick floor was preserved, cleaned, and sealed — it ended up being one of the strongest features of the finished kitchen.
