Full kitchen remodel in Washington, D.C. The existing dark brown cabinetry and dated layout were completely removed and rebuilt with custom white raised panel cabinets throughout. White quartz countertops with subtle veining were installed on the perimeter and around the farmhouse sink area. A large custom range hood was built and installed above the gas range with pot filler and brass hardware flanked by open floating shelves with LED under-shelf lighting on both sides. The original wood plank ceiling was preserved and refinished — it became one of the strongest character features in the finished kitchen. A white farmhouse sink was installed with a brass pull-down faucet. Open floating shelves with LED lighting replaced upper cabinets on one wall providing both storage and display space. Brass hardware was used consistently throughout all cabinets and drawers tying the warm tones of the wood ceiling together with the crisp white cabinetry.
